Brief Report
The ozone layer is the high concentration of ozone that is found in the stratosphere around 15–30km above the earth's surface. It covers the entire planet and protects life on earth by absorbing harmful ultraviolet-B radiation from the sun. The ozone layer absorbs 97 to 99 percent of the Sun's medium-frequency ultraviolet light which otherwise would potentially damage exposed life forms near the surface.
The students from M Sc II year Chandu Meshram, Nutan Lodhe, Trishali Dekate, Rajat Bodele, Sonali Borkar, Shubhangi Khobragde and M Sc I year Naxatra Anade, Ashwini Zode, Arti Meshram expressed their view on ozone layer depletion, impact on earth and its restoration.
