Department of Physics

Forground___

The Department established with the UG course (B.Sc.) in 1985 & integrated for PG (M.Sc.) in 2019 and introduced a certificate course on “Solar Technology” from 2020. Recently in 2021, the Centre for Higher Learning and Research is approved.
Presently, 03 Regular faculty members along with the qualified CHB teachers are involved in teaching, research & extension, co-curricular & extra-curricular activities and well-versed with the administration. One MRP is completed. The department revamped laboratories, ICT & Research facilities. The teachers and students actively participate in various activities organized by the college and other institutions at different levels.

Objectives
–>To motivate the students for higher studies and research in the multiple areas of Physics.
–>To promote the students for self-employment and also employment in various fields for betterment of their life.
–>To maintain the research environment.
–>To provide students with modern Teaching-Learning Environment.
–>To provide the tools and skills for advancing the knowledge.
–>To ensure all round development of the students.
