In celebration of the International Tribal Day on behalf of the National Service Scheme of Shri Dnyanesh Mahavidyalaya, an International Tribal Day program was held in the college on September 14, 2022. Deepak Chatap, a Zilha Parishad school student from Lakhamapur, a small village in Korpana taluka Dist. Chandrapur was felicitated for bagging Europe’s prestigious Chevening scholarship of Rs 45 lakh after completing his graduation in law. He then delivered a lecture on “Law Education and Social Commitment”. Most of the students and teachers and non-teaching staff of the college were present on this occasion. The present time is the time of global competition. We should be ready for this competition. For that, you should study and preserve your character with great effort. We should continue to strive to make our education beneficial to the weaker sections of society. He made such an assertion this time. Well-known poet Avinash Poinkar introduced Advocate Deepak Chatap as the chief guest in the program. Sadanand Borkar, Secretary of the Bhartiya Shikshan Santha was president of the program. The principal of the college Dr. Suresh Bakare introduced the various educational activities of Shri Dnyanesh Mahavidyalaya.
The program was coordinated by Dr. Gajanan Kortalwar, Program Officer of the National Service Scheme. Dr. Lalit Ujede, Head of the English Department, proposed the vote of thanks. Most of the students were present in the Pasayadan hall this time.
