It’s a traditional practice of the institution to organize student induction program every year for the new entrants in the college. This year department of Mathematics and Physics together taken initiative to plan and execute the SIP. The Student Induction Program (SIP) is a crucial component of the academic environment, designed to facilitate a smooth transition for new students. The Student Induction Program serves as a foundational element in this transition, aiming to acclimate students to the new academic environment, create a sense of belonging, and provide essential information. In this regard, to inspire the student community, we invited Ms. Shalu Gharat, a successful alumna, to share her experiences. She was honoured for her achievements by the events chairperson and the institution’s principal, Dr. Bakare. During her address, Ms. Gharat recounted her journey within the institution, offering guidance on how to build a successful career based on the chosen courses. The session proved highly interactive, with students feeling connected to her narrative.
Considering the broader objectives of the event, students were introduced to the teaching, non-teaching, and administrative staff, as well as the infrastructure and both physical and non-physical facilities. Mr. Ramteke, the head of the Department of Mathematics, conducted this orientation. Mr. Balbudhe, Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, skilfully compered the program, ensuring its smooth flow. Dr. Meshram, the head of the Department of Physics, expressed gratitude in the vote of thanks.
