A special event of National Mathematics Day was organized by Mathematics club ‘Matheletics’ on occasion of birth anniversary of great Indian Mathematician Shrinivas Ramanujan in the Pasaydaan auditorium. The event was also followed by interesting activities like storytelling, rap singing, dance performance and question quiz. Notably, the activities were prepared and presented by the students.
Many students of Biology group and Arts group were also present in the event and took active participation in the activity like question quiz.
Initially, the inauguration took place in the esteem presence of the principal Dr Bakare Sir who was the chairperson of the event. Assistant Prof Ramteke, head, department of Mathematics and convener of the program put the brief introduction of life of Ramanujan. Along with him Vice Principal Dr Ujede, Dr Meshram and Assistant Prof Balbudhe from the department of Physics also expressed their views. Ms Pallavi Meharkure, president and Ms Tinkeshvari Kamdi, Vice President of Club conducted the proceedings and Ms Amena Khan proposed a vote of thanks.
