Complete Story

The Mathematics and Physics Department of the institute organized a special event called the “Science Reels Making Competition” to mark National Science Day 2024. The aim was to honor the remarkable discovery of the Raman Effect by Sir C.V. Raman and to ignite students’ curiosity and creativity in the field of science.

Participants were invited to unleash their scientific knowledge and artistic abilities by creating short video reels. The theme of the competition was carefully selected to amplify the essence of National Science Day and to inspire participants to investigate a wide range of scientific concepts.

Although the event was open to students from all disciplines, we were delighted to have eight enthusiastic participants step forward to showcase their talent and passion for science. Each participant was given a specific timeframe to craft and submit their video reels.

Following the submission deadline, a dedicated screening committee consisting of faculty members from the Mathematics and Physics Department meticulously reviewed each entry. They evaluated the submissions based on their scientific accuracy, clarity of presentation, level of creativity, and overall production quality.

The event culminated in a vibrant ceremony graced by Principal Dr. Bakare, Vice Principal Dr. Ujede, Dr. Indurkar, organizer Mr. Balbudhe, and Convenor Mr. Ramteke. The program was expertly hosted by BSc part I student Ms. Amena Khan, while Mr. Mittal Gaikwad from the same class delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks.

During the award ceremony, the deserving winners were announced, and they were honored with cash prizes and participation certificates as tokens of appreciation for their remarkable contributions to the competition.

Overall, the “Science Reels Competition” was a resounding success, fostering a spirit of scientific inquiry, creativity, and camaraderie among our students, faculty, and staff. We look forward to more such engaging events in the future, continuing to inspire and celebrate the wonders of science.
