Objectives of Activity

Aim:

To systematically review, evaluate, and guide the progress of PhD research scholars to ensure academic rigor, methodological soundness, and timely thesis completion.

Objectives:

* To assess the research work and milestone accomplishments achieved by scholars over the preceding six months.

* To provide expert feedback, technical guidance, and constructive critiques through subject experts and research supervisors.

* To encourage cross-disciplinary academic discourse between the Humanities and Science & Technology faculties.

* To assist scholars in overcoming research bottlenecks, refining data analysis, and planning upcoming literature or laboratory work.

The Six-Monthly Research Progress Seminar was successfully organized on July 28, 2026, under the patronage of Principal Dr. Amrut Lanje and coordinated by Dr. Umesh Indurkar.

Ph D research scholars representing both the Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Science & Technology presented comprehensive progress reports covering their ongoing research, literature review updates, data collection, and experimental/analytical methodologies.

The presentations were critically evaluated by Subject Experts Dr. Narendra Harney and Dr. N. K. Patil, alongside Research Guides Dr. A. T. Mungmode and Dr. Ashish Chavhan. The panel commended the scholars on their work while providing valuable suggestions to refine their hypotheses, methodology, and publication strategies

The seminar concluded with remarks from Principal Dr. Amrut Lanje, who appreciated the scholars for their dedication and expressed gratitude to the experts and supervisors for their continuous academic mentorship and Dr. Umesh Indurkar proposed the vote of thanks.

Outcomes / Outputs of Activity

* Milestone Assessment: Successfully evaluated and documented the six-month progress of all presenting scholars in accordance with doctoral university guidelines.

* Academic Guidance: Scholars received action-oriented inputs on improving data interpretation, reference citation, and thesis structuring.

* Institutional Record: Ensured compliance with mandatory Research Advisory Committee (RAC) progress monitoring protocols.
