The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Shri Dnyanesh Mahavidyalaya, Nawargaon, organized an NSS Review Meeting to review the activities and achievements of the NSS unit during the academic year. The meeting was conducted under the guidance of the Principal, Dr. Amrut Lanje, and NSS Programme Officer Dr. Hemant B. Meshram.
The meeting focused on reviewing the various NSS activities conducted during the academic year, including social awareness programmes, cleanliness drives, tree plantation, health awareness activities, national and international days, voter awareness, environmental conservation, community service and the NSS special residential camp.
The Programme Officer presented a detailed report of the activities conducted by the NSS unit, including the participation of NSS volunteers, community involvement and the outcomes of various programmes. The achievements of the volunteers and their contribution to social service were also discussed.
The meeting emphasized the importance of discipline, leadership, teamwork, social responsibility and community participation among NSS volunteers. Suggestions were also discussed for improving the quality and effectiveness of NSS activities in the coming academic year.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ravindra Deulwar. The programme provided an opportunity to review the progress of the NSS unit and to prepare a better action plan for future activities.
