The NSS Unit of Shri Dnyanesh Mahavidyalaya, Nawargaon organized a Tiranga Rally on 13th August 2026 to celebrate the spirit of Independence Day and promote patriotism, national unity and social harmony among students. Tiranga rallies are widely organized as part of Independence Day activities to encourage respect for the National Flag and strengthen the feeling of national pride.
The rally was conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. Amrut Lanje with the active participation of teaching and non-teaching staff, NSS volunteers and students. The rally commenced from the college campus to inside the nawargaov streets with students carrying the National Flag with pride. Participants marched in an organized manner and raised patriotic slogans such as ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and “Vande Mataram.”
The rally conveyed important messages of national unity, patriotism, peace, social responsibility and respect for the sacrifices of freedom fighters. Students enthusiastically participated and created an atmosphere of patriotism and national pride. The programme concluded with the National Anthem and a vote of thanks proposed by NSS programme officer Dr. Hemant Meshram.
