To celebrate World Wildlife Day, launched on March 3 by the United Nations in 1973 to help raise awareness about how people benefit from “fauna and flora,” According to the UN, World Wildlife Day is an opportunity to celebrate the many beautiful and varied forms of wild fauna and flora and to raise awareness of the multitude of benefits that their conservation provides to people.
Dr Vikas Barsagade Head Department of Zoology, Nabira Mahavidyalya, Katol well explained about the conservation, its importance and impact on environment of wild life.
Dr U S Indurkar has organised the programme. In introductory remark he added that the diversity of wild life in our region and our role to protect the wild life also he introduce the guest.
