ANNUAL GATHERING
“DIYARI” – 2023-24
29 & 30 December 2023 – 01 January 2024
As per academic plan, the college conducted a meeting on 01/12/2023 for the organization of annual gathering under the guidance of principal. Different issues like, organization of Sport competition for students musical programme, cultural programme, formation of various committees etc. were discussed regarding the smooth functioning of annual gathering and decided to be organized 29 & 30 December 2023.
The inauguration programme commenced with the auspicious light of the ceremonial lamp of Saint Gadge Maharaj photo by Hon’ble Samaan Shekhar, IAS, Director ‘Attain’, IAS Coaching Institute Nagpur inaugurated the Annual Gathering on 29 December 2023 in the Pasaydan Hall of Shri Dnyanesh College.
“Art expression is important in life. It gives you a high level of happiness. But it is also very important to have a high goal in life. Low goal is a crime. Have a high goal of becoming an IAS from 11th class. NCERT Book from Class VI to XII Collect and read. Check Central Public Service Commission question papers and syllabus. Read daily newspapers. Take notes of all subjects. Make a habit of studying five to six hours daily. Get a good command of two-three languages and practice writing. If you try sincerely, suppose you become a collector one day.” This assertion was made by Samana Shekhar, who became an IAS at the age of 21. Samana Shekhar has been the collector of six districts of Madhya Pradesh. He has worked as a secretary to former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chavan and Kamal Nath. After resigning from all posts he is guiding students from backward classes and economically weaker sections for free through “Attain” sacademy in Nagpur.
Mr Samaan has a unique and impressive academic record that bagged the supreme position of IAS at a very young age of 21 years. He has also worked on innumerable positions including Secretary Position of Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. In addition to the administrative front, he has also contributed in academic areas as Vice-Chancellor in MP University. Currently he has devoted himself to work for the needy and depressed class of the society by cultivating the moral, ethical and constitutional values among all. Through his power point presentation, he made the large gathering of students spellbound by his guidance on the preparation of IAS. Mr Sadanand Borkar, Secretary of Bhartiya Shikshan Sanstha presided over the inaugural function.
Dr. Suresh Bakare, the principal of the college, addressed the gathering on this occasion and gave best wishes for participants for different competitions Dr Umesh Indurkar, Head of Cultural Department explained about the role in the organization of the entire event, as well as the various competitions in this event. Dr Ujede, Vice-principal of college graced the function. The vote of thanks for the program was given by Junior College Supervisor Mr Sunil Kumbhare. This program was coordinated by Prof. Durgesh Kshirsagar. This time there was a lot of enthusiasm from students and they were happy that “DIYARI 2023-24” was being inaugurated with great enthusiasm. Volunteers of National Service Scheme as well as teaching and non-teaching staff of the college worked hard for the success of the programme.
Various competitions like Rangoli, Bouquet making, Singing, Acting, Mime, , Solo dance, Group dance, and traditional Costumes were organized on 29-30 December 2023. Skit, Quiz and Antakshari were organised on 01 January 2024. The Staff from junior and senior worked as jury members at various competitions. 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes in these various competitions were awarded with certificates and mementos by the hands of Principal of college Dr Bakare, Coordinator Dr Indurkar & Junior college supervisor Mr Kumbhare on 01 January 2024 in valedictory. This programme was conducted by Mr Balbudhe and Dr Indurkar proposed the vote of thanks.
