On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, the Amrit Mahotsav of Indian Constitution Day was celebrated by the National Service Scheme Department of Shri Dyanesh College, Nawargaon in Pasayadan hall at 11.00 am.

    The specialty of the Indian Constitution is that the Constitution of India is the supreme law of India, which was presented to the Constituent Assembly on November 26, 1949 by the Chairman of the Drafting Committee, Vishwaratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and came into force on January 26, 1950. The Constitution of India is the longest written constitution of any republic in the world and it is flexible, meaning that the Central and State Governments can jointly amend the constitution. While explaining the importance of Constitution Day, Dr. Hemant Meshram, NSS Program Officer, elaborated in his introduction.

     The preamble is often presented to explain the objectives of the Indian Constitution and is considered the best in the world. The purpose of the Constitution reveals the essence, expectations, objectives, and philosophy of the Indian Constitution. On the occasion of this day, the newly appointed Principal of the college, Dr. Amrut S. Lanje, presided over the program and all the dignitaries present read out the preamble of the Indian Constitution.
A majority of the professors of the senior and junior colleges, office staff and students were present at this program.
