The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Shri Dnyanesh Mahavidyalaya, Nawargaon organized a Cleanliness Drive in the College Premises with the objective of creating awareness about cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental responsibility among students.
The cleanliness drive was conducted in various areas of the college campus, including the classroom surroundings, corridors, playground, garden area, and other common places. NSS volunteers actively participated in collecting waste materials, removing unwanted vegetation, cleaning the surroundings, and ensuring the proper disposal of waste.
The volunteers were guided about the importance of maintaining cleanliness in public places and adopting responsible waste-management practices. They also spread the message of “Clean Campus, Healthy Campus” and encouraged students to avoid littering and to use dustbins properly.
The activity promoted a sense of social responsibility, teamwork, discipline, and environmental consciousness among the students. The NSS volunteers demonstrated that collective efforts can make the college campus cleaner, healthier, and more attractive.
The programme concluded with a pledge by the participants to maintain cleanliness in the college premises and contribute to a clean and healthy environment.
