On the occasion of the Amrit Mahotsav of the Indian Constitution, the Constitution Gaurav Mahotsav is being organized all over Maharashtra. As a part of it, the National Service Scheme Department of Shri Gyanesh College organized the Constitution Gaurav Mahotsav on 20.02.2025 at 10.30 am for college students in the Pasayadan Auditorium. On the occasion of the Constitution Gaurav Mahotsav, Dr. Umesh Indurkar, Head of the Zoology Department, presented a presentation on the topic of “Fundamental Rights and Duties” in the Indian Constitution. The chairman of the program was Dr. Dinesh Kathote. While speaking, Dr. Indurkar gave various examples to convince us how our Constitution protects and guarantees the fundamental rights of Indian citizens based on various articles of the Constitution. He reviewed the duties of Indian citizens in his speech. Under his scholarly guidance, he told us how much it is necessary for every student to read and understand the Constitution today. The program was moderated by Dr. Astik Mungmode. The vote of thanks for the program was given by Prof. Vijay Vakode, Head of the History Department. All the teaching and non-teaching staff were present in this program. The program concluded with a pasayadan.
