Today, we are living in a digital era where the internet, mobile phones, and computers have become an inseparable part of human life. With just a single click, the world has come closer; however, behind the glitter of this technology lies a dark side as well cyber-crime. The misuse of modern technology has led to various cyber offences such as theft of personal information, financial fraud, and online harassment. These crimes not only cause financial losses but also have serious consequences on an individual’s mental well-being and social reputation. Therefore, creating awareness about cyber-crimes, their risks, and preventive measures has become an urgent need of the present time.
Keeping this objective in mind, NSS unit of Shri Dnyanesh Mahavidyalaya, Nawargaon organized an awareness programme on “Cyber Crime Awareness.” On this occasion, Mr. Kanchan Pandey, Police Inspector, Sindewahi Police Station, delivered valuable and insightful guidance to the students.
