The programme was attended by officers of the Irrigation Department, office-bearers of the Water Distribution Department, all the teachers of the college, and students of Semester V of BA, BSc, MA, and MSc programmes.
During the programme, Ms. Shubhangi Nakshine and other senior members of the department guided the students on the importance of water conservation, the proper distribution of water, and its effective utilisation for agricultural purposes. They explained the role of the Irrigation Department in providing water for farming and highlighted the need for the judicious use of water resources to support agricultural development.
The programme aimed to create awareness among students about the functioning of the Irrigation and Water Distribution Departments and to sensitise them to the importance of water management in agriculture and sustainable development.
