Complete Story

On the occasion of completion of 75 Years of Bhartiya Shikshan Sanstha, Nawargaon Dist. Chandrapur a Gautam Buddha Shobha Yatra was organized by NSS unit of Shri Dnyanesh Mahavidyalaya, Nawargaon on 02.01.2026 with great enthusiasm and devotion. The Shobha Yatra was conducted to spread the message of peace, non-violence, compassion, equality, and wisdom as taught by Gautam Buddha.

The procession began with the offering of flowers and garlands to the portrait of Lord Gautam Buddha, followed by the chanting of Buddham Sharanam Gachchhami. Students, NSS volunteers, teaching staff, and local citizens participated actively in the yatra. Placards and banners displaying Buddha’s teachings such as Ahimsa, Karuna, Maitri, and Prajna were carried during the procession.

The Shobha Yatra passed through the main streets of Nawargaon Dist. Chandrapur creating awareness among the public about Buddha’s philosophy and its relevance in today’s society. The program concluded with a brief address highlighting the importance of Buddha’s teachings in promoting social harmony and moral values.
