Complete Story

GROW NATIVES- plants which grow well in our climate with zero maintenance. It helps to protect and restore biodiversity by increasing conservation awareness of native plants and their effective use in urban, suburban, and rural developed landscapes of the Lower Midwest and any areas. Native plants are better adapted to most growing conditions – Because native plants have evolved to grow in the region they are native to, they often require much less maintenance than non-natives and invasive species. In a garden environment, native plants do best with some attention and care, but require less water, fertilizer, pruning, little or no pesticide, and less of your time to maintain than do many common garden plants. … Native plants have developed their own defenses against many pests and diseases.
