The inauguration of the Chemical Society for the year 2021-2022 and Guest Lecture was held on Friday 31 Dec 2021 at 10.15 am at Pasaydaan auditorium.
On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Mrs. V. K. Rewatkar, Vice Principal chaired the session. The Guest Speaker Dr. Promod Jadhav, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, Rajashri Shahu Mahavidyalaya, Deovlali Pravara Dist. Ahmednagar addressed the students on virtual mode on “The Importance of Chemistry in the Present Era.”
The Head Department Of Chemistry and Coordinator Dr. Sunil Chachere welcome the Chairperson Dr. Mrs. Rewatkar and delivered the introductory note. He also declared the Society of the subject which is going to initiate various academic activities throughout the year. Initially, Dr. Chachere welcome the Guest Dr. Promod Jadhav. The Chairperson Prof. Rewatkar then formally inaugurated the Chemical Society.
Then Dr. Promod Jadhav presented his studious talk on the said theme. He also highlighted the importance of the Chemistry subject for preparation in the competitive exams for every sector like engineering, medical, civil services, management, etc. After, his talk the chairperson Dr Mrs Rewatkar addressed the students. Assistant Professor Mr Ankit Mungale compered the session whereas Assistant Professor Ms Ashwini Shrirame proposed a vote of thanks.

Outcomes / Outputs of Activity

The UG as well as PG student of the institution become aware of the importance of Chemistry and its importance in the competitive examinations.
