Department of Sport and Physical Education, Gondwana University, Gadchiroli and Department of Physical Education, Shri Dnyanesh Mahavidyalaya, Nawargaon jointly organized One Day Multidisciplinary International E-Conference on ‘Global Environmental Health and Sustainable Development’ on 20th August, 2021, Thursday.
The conference was inaugurated by the Pro Vice Chancellor of Gondwana University, Dr. Kawale. In his inaugural address, Shriram Kavale said, “We are all experiencing human physical progress and changes in the environment, so it will be possible to address human issues through such seminars.”
After the inaugural address of the chief guest, the conference was started. There were 4 technical sessions in which Chief Phil AJ Philip Agbonnia, Department of Geography at the University of Nigeria in Nusca, Africa, Dr. B. Akbar Ali Dharwad from Tamil Nadu, D. from Karnataka, Mohammad Yasir of Petroleum University in China, Praveen Saptarshi, Venkat Wangwad, and Ravindra Jayabhaye delivered their views on the said theme.
There was a fruitful discussion about global warming and the erosion of the ecological balance are being raised around the world. The question of human existence is as much a question of human life today as it is of human progress and the advancement of science and technology.
Total 123 scholars from all over the world and from different states of India participated in the conference by writing research papers on the subject. The entire conference was compered by Lalit Ujede.
Dr. Manoj Armarkar, Director, Department of Physical Education, Shri Dnyanesh Mahavidyalaya, worked as the coordinator for the present e-conference. Dr. Vasanti Rewatkar, Dr. Umesh Indoorkar, Dr. Astik Mungmode, Prof. Ankosh Ramteke, Dr. Dinesh Kathote, Prof. Bhavrao Balbudhe, Prof. Durgesh Kshirsagar of Shri Dnyanesh Mahavidyalaya have worked hard to make this e-conference a success.
