On behalf of Shri Dnyanesh College’s National Service Scheme, Gondwana University as well as Maharashtra Government organized various activities under “Meri Mati-Mera Desh” in the first week of August. Meri Mati-Mera Desh, an initiative implemented across the country, should be effective in the college. The original message should reach the students. For this purpose, the program was conducted at various levels such as elocution competition, painting competition, swearing program with mud in hands. Plantation was planned. In order to protect the environment in this country, it was planned to plant two hundred trees. A large number of students, teachers and non-teaching staff of the college were present in all these programs. College Principal Dr. Suresh Bakare guided the students in various programs. Program Officer of National Service Scheme Dr. Gajanan Kortalwar, Joint Program Officer Prof. Hemant Meshram, and Prof. Milind Fulzele worked hard.

Outcomes / Outputs of Activity

1. Environmental awareness among the students.
2. The oath taking program instilled patriotism in the students.
3. The mind-set of the students was created for tree plantation.
