A one-day Shramdana was conducted on 30th November 2022 by the National Service Scheme Department of Shri Dnyanesh Mahavidyalaya, Nawargaon. The venue was held at Dutta Hill area of Government of Maharashtra Tourism Status Group ‘C’ near Nawargaon. 61 students from the National Service Scheme Unit participated in this one-day Shramdana. At exactly 11 in the morning, the students started various works such as unpaved road in Dutt hill temple area, plastic free area, shifting of construction materials, growing grass in the area. This Shramdana of the students stopped at exactly 1 pm after cleaning and sanctifying the entire area by doing various works. Office bearers of the temple area Suresh Khobragade, Raju Ninave, Madhukar Wakade, Manoj Barsagade guided the students for Shramdana. Everyone expressed their satisfaction after the Shramdana. After Shramdana all the students washed their hands and feet and took the food provided by the organizers. In the afternoon, Honorable Principal of the college Dr. Suresh Bakare participated in this Shramdana training camp. Principal Dr. Bakre praised the students after seeing all the work done by the students in cleaning the area, road and garden. Expressed satisfaction with this one day camp of National Service Scheme.
After the meal there was a joint program of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule death anniversary and Constitution Day. Principal Dr. Suresh Bakare presided over the program. The program was introduced by Suresh Khobragade. Highlighting the works of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule, he told the students about the value of the Constitution in his short speech. The program was moderated by Dr. Gajanan Kortalwar. The vote of thanks was given by Prachi Gabhane, volunteer of National Service Scheme. Many citizens were present on this occasion.
