Students and faculty members of Botany Deptt. Prepared Quick Response Codes for 27 plants of the institution campus. Maximum students in the institution use smart phones. They use the smart phone in all the walk of life including academic purpose. When the institution observed that the students use the smart phone everywhere in the premises then Department of Botany decided to prepare QR codes for plants planted in the campus and in the Botanical garden for getting information at fingertips. The information stored in QR codes is usually URL, i,e, hidden website address. Anyone with a smart phone can use a QR code scanning app to scan the code and see the detailed information like scientific name, family and uses of particular plant. The information for QR codes can be made as per the need of the society
