Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar, popularly known as Nightingale of India passed away on 6th February 2022 at the age of 92 due to old age. She is widely considered to have been one of the greatest and most influential singers in India. Her contribution to the Indian music industry in a career spanning seven decades gained her honorific titles such as the Voice of the Millennium and Queen of Melody. The government of India declared a holiday to pay respect to Lata Mangeshkar. The faculty and supporting staff members were present on this occasion. Principal Dr. Bakare gave an introductory remark and expressed his condolences. After the introductory remark, all the attendees paid homage and tributes to the great soul.

The death of Lata Mangeshkar is a great loss to the music and cultural sector of India. The entire nation and music lovers paid respect to the departed soul.
