Veer Bal Diwas was organized by NSS Department of Shri Dnyanesh Mahavidyalaya, Nawargaon with great respect and patriotic spirit on 26th December 2026 to commemorate the supreme sacrifice of Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh, the younger sons of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The day is dedicated to remembering their courage, faith, and martyrdom at a very young age.
The programme began with a brief introduction highlighting the historical importance of Veer Bal Diwas and the heroic sacrifice made by the Sahibzadas for the protection of religion, truth, and human values by NSS Program officer Prof. Dr. Hemantkumar Meshram. Dr. Amrut Lanje, Principal addressed the students and explained the relevance of their sacrifice in today’s society, emphasizing values such as bravery, moral strength, and devotion to duty.
The programme concluded with a message inspiring students to imbibe the ideals of courage, discipline, and selfless service in their lives and vote of thanks by Prof. Durgesh Kshirsagar. The observance of Veer Bal Diwas was successful in instilling patriotic feelings and moral values among students. All the teaching and Non-teaching staff were present.
