The institution celebrates the birth anniversary of ‘Missile Man of India’, Bharatratna, Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam, on 15th October as Wachan Prerna Din.
Dept of Marathi and English collaboratively observed Wachan Prerna Din, recently. On this occasion the departments organised a talk on ‘Wachlyane Hoat Aahe Re, Aadhi Wachlech Pahije.’ The speaker of the program, Mr Avinash Poinkar, a well-known poet and social worker, Bhamragad, highlighted the importance of reading in the life of every student. He also shared his journey in the company of books. The Chairperson of the program, Mr Sadanand Borkar, Secretary of Bharatiya Shikshan Sanstha, Nawargaon also emphasized the importance of books in students’ life. Dr Suresh Bakare, Principal appreciated the organizing departments for their initiative. The program was compered by Dr Gajanan Kortalwar, HoD, Marathi. The speaker and the guest were introduced by Mr Durgesh Kshirsagar. The program concluded with a vote of thanks, proposed by Dr L C Ujede, HoD, English.
