One-day workshop organized by the Environmental studies was held on 29/12/21 at Pasaydan Hall. The keynote speaker for this event was Prof. Vijay Wakode instructed the students to be aware of their responsibilities on various environmental issues and Prof. Vaishali Dorlikar of Zoology Department gave detailed guidance on the impact of pollution on the environment and its role. The coordinator of this workshop Dr. Umesh Indurkar gave information about the syllabus given by the university, examination methods and components of the syllabus. The workshop was attended by all BA first year and B.Sc second year students. All the teachers of the Department of Zoology contributed a lot for the success of this workshop. Three series of video on environment issue were shown and explained by Dr U S Indurkar on this occasion.
