Shri Dnyanesh Mahavidyalaya, Navargaon organized a program on the occasion of World Heart Day on 29th September 2025 under the guidance of the Principal Dr. Amrut Lanje and NSS unit. The day is observed worldwide to create awareness about cardiovascular health and the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

The program began with a short inaugural address by the Principal, who highlighted the significance of maintaining heart health through regular exercise, balanced diet, and stress management. A special lecture was delivered by Dr. Dr. Hemant Meshram, NSS Programme Officer, who enlightened the audience on topics such as heart diseases, risk factors, preventive care, and emergency response during cardiac arrest. He emphasized that young adults should be conscious of their heart health from an early age. NSS volunteers took a pledge to follow heart-healthy habits and motivate their families and community members to do the same.

The event concluded with an interactive question-answer session and a vote of thanks by the NSS Programme Co-Officer Mr. Ravindra Deulwar.

Outcomes / Outputs of Activity

  1. Students gained knowledge about heart-related issues and preventive measures.
  2. Active participation in poster and skit presentations fostered creativity and awareness.
  3. The programme motivated students to adopt healthier daily habits and to spread the message of heart health in society.
