The National Service Scheme of Shri Dnyanesh College organized a lecture on “Arogyam Dhansampada” on the occasion of World Youth Day on 12th August 2023 at Pasayadan Auditorium of the college between 10 am and 12 pm. Students are young, So they neglect their health. Many people are addicted to addictions. We put our health on the line by consuming alcohol. Tobacco and smoking are very dangerous habits. People become addicts at a young age due to false advertisement of prestige. Today, many People are developing heart disease at a young age. Students should quit smoking and tobacco. Do yoga and exercise for one hour every day for a healthy life. Surely we can increase the strength of the country. Young people should take care of their health consciously. Superintendent Dr. Jagdish Hedau was speaking in this lecture. Sadanand Borkar, Secretary, Bharatiya Shikshan Sanstha, presided over the program. Even under his presidential guidance, addiction has become a problem in the society today. It is very important to be aware to our health. Dr. Suresh Bakare, Principal of the College, introduced the guests and gave background to the lecture. The program was coordinated by Dr. Gajanan Kortalwar. The vote of thanks was proposed by Prof. Hemant Meshram. On this occasion, a large number of students and teachers and non-teaching staff were present in Pasayadan Hall of the college.
